TV Connect has been added to two of NAD’s state-of-the-art NAD Digital models. Available through a free firmware update for all owners, the new feature further enhances the all-round home entertainment appeal of the NAD D 3020 Hybrid Digital Amplifier and the D 7050 Direct Digital Network Amplifier. TV Connect allows these models to “learn” the volume, power ON and mute button commands from any TV remote control while automatically switching on and selecting the correct input for seamless integration with the TV. Now, with the D 3020 or D 7050 amplifier, listeners are free to select any quality loudspeaker and enjoy the superior experience of true high-fidelity sound for their TV.
Integrating enhanced TV sound with a stereo music system has been simpler. The new feature brings NAD’s renowned audio performance to today’s TV without the complexity of a multi-channel AV receiver or the sonic compromises of a sound bar. Single optical cable connectivity from the TV to the D 3020 or D 7050 will deliver all the performance of these class-leading modern amplifiers with any TV program. Switch the TV off and the supplied NAD remote control operates the amplifier in the normal way.
“NAD’s new TV Connect feature allows seamless integration of high-resolution audio with HD video, greatly enhancing the entire HD TV experience,” says Greg Stidsen, NAD Director of Technology and Product Planning. “TV Connect addresses the issues of poor sound head-on and offers a simple one-remote solution that can transcend the soundbar in every sonic parameter.”
TV Connect brings the performance and features of the D 3020 and D 7050 to TV viewing for the first time, backed with the convenience of a unified remote control. TV Connect is available now with a firmware update.
